This this another great tool called MapMyRide that lets you create, discover, and save your favorite bike routes. Just plug in your location, select "biking," and start plotting. You can see other users' routes as well. The app is great!
LOCAL & STATE RESOURCES AND LAWS
Erie County Active Transportation is a great page for local bicycle resources. Their goal is to reduce the amount of traffic on our roads, help preserve our environment, and improves overall health of our community.
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) acts in an advisory capacity to the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Policy Committee. They review transportation plans and projects.
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has developed this guide to identify relevant state traffic laws and summarize information regarding traveling and interacting with others using our transportation system.
