Kippie Loughlin

President 

Kippie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications & Graphic Design, and has over 20 years of experience in management and design. Kippie sits on many committees and boards, including the City of Sandusky Tree Commission, Erie County’s Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee, and the Creating Healthy Communities Committee. He also works for Erie MetroParks where he is the Digital Media, Marketing, and IT Coordinator. He performs most of the repairs and organizes safety trainings at Sandusky Bay Cycles. He is also the co-founder. He is passionate about biking and committed to helping make the Northcoast a safer and more bikeable region. 

Elisabeth Sowecke

Treasurer

Elisabeth Sowecke is a mother and environmental steward. She can often be found donating her time and resources to help others. She has a Master's Degree in Writing and works for the City of Sandusky as a Service Coordinator. If anyone knows the roads in Sandusky, it is Elisabeth. She is the co-founder of Sandusky Bay Cycles. She also leads the Happy Thursday! bike rides during the spring and summer. She also takes care of the paperwork for SBC. When not working she enjoys writing, yoga, landscaping, and spending time with her family. 

Breann Hohman

Secretary

Breann Hohman is a Sandusky native who received a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Wright State University. Her formal background is in plant ecology and with research related to invasive species impacts and control. She is also active in the community as a board member for the Soil and Water Conservation Society – Ohio Chapter, Back to the Wild, and as a member of the Sandusky Tree Commission. While not working for the environment she likes attending concerts and biking with her family.
